Leonardo da Vinci, was born on April, 15, 1452 Anchiano, near Vinci,Republic of Florence Italy-died May 2,1519, in France he was a Italian  artists , an engineer and scientist. Leonardo da Vinci was an  important artist and scholar of the Italian Renaissance who is best- known for his two paintings “The Last Super” and “Mona Lisa.” Early Years Leonardo da Vinci, was born on April 15, 1452 Anchiano, Florence Italy. Leonardo was conceived out of wedlock, his father was a well-respected notary, and his mother was a young peasant woman, his father Ser Piero raised him, as well his stepmothers.
